What Happens After You Sign Up?

Last updated March 9, 2026

You've signed up for a group service — here's what happens next.

Your payment method is saved, not charged

When you sign up, we save your payment method securely. You won't be charged until your vendor has confirmed the booking and your service is scheduled. If anything changes before confirmation, you can cancel without being charged.

Your vendor confirms

After enough neighbors have signed up, the vendor reviews the booking and confirms they can complete the work. Once confirmed, the service is officially scheduled and you'll receive details about timing and any preparation needed.

Service day

On the day of service, the vendor will come to your building. Depending on the service, you may need to be home or you may just need to ensure access. Your organizer or Kindo will communicate any specific instructions beforehand.

After the service

Once the work is done, you'll be asked to confirm the service was completed. This is a quick step — just confirm that the vendor showed up and did the work. After your confirmation, your payment is processed and the vendor is paid.

If something goes wrong

If the service wasn't completed or there was an issue, you can report it instead of confirming. Your payment won't be processed until the situation is resolved. Kindo tracks every vendor's reliability across every job in every building — accountability is built into how the platform works.
