Your Payment Is Protected
Last updated March 9, 2026
We know that entering payment information for a service that hasn't happened yet requires trust. Here's how Kindo protects you.
You're not charged when you sign up
When you sign up for a group service, Kindo saves your payment method securely but does not charge you. Payment is only processed after your vendor has confirmed the booking and the service is officially scheduled.
Payments are processed securely
Kindo uses Stripe, one of the world's leading payment platforms, to handle all transactions. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on Kindo's servers. Stripe processes payments for companies like Amazon, Google, and Shopify.
You confirm before the vendor is paid
After a service is completed, you're asked to confirm the work was done. The vendor is paid only after confirmation. If the service wasn't completed or there was a problem, you can report it and your payment won't be released to the vendor until the issue is resolved.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel your sign-up before the service is confirmed without being charged. For cancellations and refunds after confirmation, Kindo's refund policy applies — details are in your booking confirmation and our Terms of Use.
