How Does Pricing Work?
Last updated March 10, 2026
Kindo's pricing is built on one idea: when your building buys together, everyone pays less.
Why group rates are lower
When a vendor services one apartment, they spend time traveling, parking, setting up, navigating building access, and managing paperwork — all for a single job. When they service 20 apartments in the same building on the same day, those fixed costs are spread across every unit. That's why the per-unit price drops as more neighbors participate.
What you'll see before you sign up
Before you commit, you'll see the price for your specific unit. Pricing may vary slightly depending on your unit — for example, a two-bedroom apartment with two AC units will cost more than a studio with one. You'll always see your price clearly before you provide payment information.
Services with multiple job types
Some service requests cover more than one type of work — for example, a plumber handling both drain unclogging and leak repairs in a single building visit. When this happens, each job type has its own pricing based on how many neighbors sign up for that specific service. You'll see your price for each job you select before you commit.
Category-specific pricing
For certain services, pricing may vary based on the specifics of your unit. For example, marble countertop sealing and granite countertop sealing may be priced differently because they require different materials or techniques. You'll always see the exact price for your situation before you sign up.
When are you charged?
You provide a payment method when you sign up, but you're not charged immediately. Payment is only processed after your vendor confirms the booking. This protects you — if anything changes before the service is confirmed, you haven't paid anything.
Kindo's fee
Kindo charges vendors a fee on completed services. This fee is built into the pricing you see — there are no hidden charges or surprise fees added to your bill.
