Referring a Vendor

Any club member can put forward a pro they trust to bid on a service your building is collecting quotes for.

How to do it

Open the bids page for the service and use the invite form — "Invite a Vendor Not on Kindo", or "Know a Great Pro? Put Them Forward". Add the business name and, if you have it, their email. If there's no email, Kindo gives you a link to send them yourself. A pro who's already on Kindo can be invited straight from the suggestions on the same page.

Who sees your name

If you add a pro who isn't on Kindo yet and give their email, Kindo emails them an invitation to bid on your building's project, and the email names you as the person who sent it. If you invite a pro who's already on Kindo through the invite form, the email names you. If you invite one from the suggestions, it names the neighbor who started the request (or your club's organizer).

How they're picked

The pro you put forward bids the same way as everyone else, and only a bid they submit themselves can be picked. Club members compare it with the other bids and choose.
