Your Kindo Score

Last updated March 9, 2026

Your Kindo Score reflects your quality and reliability as a service provider on the platform. It's visible to building organizers when they evaluate bids, and it plays a role in which opportunities you're invited to.

What goes into your score

Your score is based on your track record:

  • Job completion and quality — ratings from residents after each completed service
  • Reliability — showing up on time, completing the work as scoped, and communicating proactively
  • Reviews — both your history on Kindo and any Google reviews associated with your business

New providers start without a score. As you complete jobs and receive ratings, your score builds. One or two jobs won't define you — the score becomes more meaningful as your history grows.

How it's displayed

Building organizers see your Kindo Score alongside your bid when they're comparing vendors. A strong score signals that other buildings have had good experiences with your work. Residents see a simplified rating (stars) rather than the full score.

How to strengthen your score

  • Deliver quality work consistently. Residents rate every job on a 1–5 scale after completion.
  • Communicate proactively. If you're running late or need to reschedule, let the building know through the platform.
  • Resolve issues quickly. If a resident reports a problem, responding and making it right protects your reputation.
  • Keep your insurance and profile up to date. Compliance readiness isn't scored directly, but it determines whether you can accept opportunities at all.

A note on fairness

Your score is designed to reflect your actual work quality, not just volume. New providers aren't penalized for having fewer reviews — the system accounts for the fact that a small number of reviews is less statistically reliable. What matters is the quality of the work you do, not how long you've been on the platform.
