Signing a Building's Indemnity Agreement
Last updated October 3, 2026
If a building requires a signed indemnity agreement from each apartment, you sign the building's form once for the job, on the Contractor line, from "Review and sign the agreement" on your job page.
Why you sign first
The form has a line for the contractor and a line for each apartment, and Kindo won't produce a copy with one side blank. Residents can't sign theirs until you've signed. Every apartment that signs afterwards receives a copy carrying your signature alongside theirs.
Who can sign
Anyone on your Kindo team can sign for your business. You sign as yourself: type your name exactly as it should appear on the Contractor line, and your company's exact registered name where the form has a Company Name line.
What you're agreeing to
It's the building's own agreement, not Kindo's. Kindo didn't write it, doesn't review it, and doesn't decide who may sign it. You'll also agree to Kindo's consent to electronic records.
What Kindo records
Kindo records your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, together with the exact characters you type and the time on Kindo's server. Those appear on a record page attached to the signed document, which the building and its managing agent can read. The building accepts or rejects the document.
Why it matters for your booking
While the building requires a signed agreement from every apartment, an apartment isn't charged and you can't confirm the booking until every apartment signed up is cleared.
