Getting Started as a Kindo Provider

Last updated March 9, 2026

Kindo connects professional home service providers with residential buildings in New York City. Instead of chasing individual leads, you receive organized opportunities where multiple units in the same building need the same service — so you can work efficiently and earn more per visit.

Step 1: Create your provider account

Visit Kindo and register as a service provider. You'll need your business name, the services you offer, and your contact information. Registration is free.

Step 2: Set up Stripe for payments

Kindo uses Stripe to handle all payments securely. During setup, you'll connect a Stripe account so you can receive payouts directly. Stripe will ask for standard business verification information. Once connected, you're ready to get paid for completed jobs.

Step 3: Prepare your insurance documents

Every vendor on Kindo must carry proper insurance. Before you can bid on any building, you'll need to have your Certificate of Insurance (COI) ready. See our Insurance & Compliance Requirements guide for exactly what's needed.

Step 4: Complete your profile

A complete profile helps buildings find and trust you. Add your service areas, business description, and any relevant licenses or certifications. If you have Google reviews, those are factored into how buildings evaluate your bids.

Step 5: Start receiving opportunities

When buildings in your service area need work you offer, you may be invited to submit a bid. You'll see each opportunity in your dashboard with details about the building, the service needed, and the number of units. You decide which opportunities to bid on.

Adding team members

If you have colleagues who need access to your Kindo account, you can invite them from your account settings. All team members have equal access to your business profile, opportunities, and jobs.
