Adding Your Building's Vendor Requirements
Last updated October 3, 2026
Any club member can add your building's vendor requirements on the Building tab, as long as none are on file yet.
What to add
Most managing agents send contractors a PDF, often through a portal like BuildingLink: insurance requirements, an indemnity agreement, or both in one document. Upload it, or enter the details by hand. When you upload, Kindo reads the document and fills in the contacts and insurance requirements it finds. Review each tab and correct anything before you save.
What Kindo does with them
The requirements are saved on the building, so they apply to this project and every one after it. When your building picks a vendor, Kindo sends the vendor's paperwork to the building contacts on file, and when sign-ups open it includes the requirements in the insurance request to that vendor. Your building management decides whether the vendor's paperwork meets them.
Changing them later
Once your building's own requirements are on file, replacing them is up to the organizer or a property manager. A member can fill a gap, but not overwrite what's there.
Unit-by-unit settings
Some buildings want each apartment named on the vendor's certificate, or a signed indemnity agreement from every apartment. The organizer, a property manager or Kindo turns these on. While either is on, an apartment isn't charged and the job isn't confirmed until that apartment is cleared.
